So far, YOU are the only one talking about it being perverted. I made it clear why I thought it was weird. You keep trying to interpret it into something it's not. Maybe you should stop projecting your own thoughts into what others are saying.

Yes I am the one talking about how disgusting it is to turn a moment like that into something perverse. You are the one completely fixated on this idea of the Father being there to see his Daughter's vagina. If you want to be in denial about how revolting that is and you want try and put that on me carry on, if it makes you feel better about you trying to sexualise birth in such a way then knock yourself out.

I think there's a BIG difference between your dad watching your baby being born and your dad watching your husband inseminating you. *shrug* Please keep your vagina in your pants. The world has enough to deal with.

You're nuts, dude. LOL. Just because I disagree with you, does not mean I'm some sicko with daddy issues. Get the hell over it.

What are you even talking about? I don't think anyone here is being disrespectful. We're just sharing opinions because I asked for them. So are you saying it is gross and wrong to have your dad in the delivery room?

My dada was in the delivery room when I had my first dd, her dad was useless and just stood there doing nothing,. My dad held my hand and put a cold face cloth on my face etc....

My 2nd dd was a homebirth and my dad was their too and my dd's dad (different dad then my oldest) but my dad was there for me again.
My 3rd dd was emergancy csection and my dad was the only one with me at my appointment so he was their for my cesection as well.

I have always been close with my dad and he is really close with my girls too.

People who think its gross its whatever to each their own really.

That's awesome that he was there for all of your daughter's births! My dad will probably be there for any future babies I have as well. He's a great granddad and DD absolutely LOVES him. The other day we were at my niece's birthday party and DD wanted him more than she wanted me haha.

I'm not close to my dad at all, he wasn't even at the hospital when I gave birth to my second baby. However, my father in law was in the room with DH and I and it was actually a really amazing experience. He stayed up by my head of course but he was a great support to me during labor and delivery. It was a really special experience for him as well, getting to see his first grandson be born. It wasn't weird at all. I'd have him in there with us again in a heartbeat without a second thought.

Yup, that sounds exactly like my experience with having my dad in the room with me. He was a great support and kept telling me how proud he was of me for being so strong...even though I was crying like a little baby

I'm sure he will be in the room with any future babies I have as well.
