DD used to be just like this. The only thing that ever worked was laying her in her crib turning out the lights and closing the door. She would cry for 2-5 minutes and then pass out. That was the ONLY thing that ever worked now she is almost 8 months old and she sleeps amazingly. She won't go to sleep if someone is interacting with her though.

We just went through that "joy" with my daughter a few weeks ago. She ended up cutting teeth when she was 4 months old and that was what caused it. I wasn't sure what the deal was because everyone told me she was too young to be getting teeth, but I knew that had to be it because nothing else was wrong with her. Give him baby Tylenol and just cuddle with him. It seems like it will never pass but it will. My daughter is all smiles again and sleeps just like she used to before the teeth. Good Luck!

Quoting Haylow:" We just went through that "joy" with my daughter a few weeks ago. She ended up cutting teeth when she ... [snip!] ... it will never pass but it will. My daughter is all smiles again and sleeps just like she used to before the teeth. Good Luck!"

DD got her first two teeth 9 days after she turned 4 months. I thought that was normal but I found out recently most babies don't get them until 6-8 months lol
