...out of the blue suddenly start stuttering? His speech has always been perfect, and clear...:(

my son does that sometimes but only when he's talking too fast; it's like his brain is moving faster than his words lol

OP, I did the same thing when I was little, and outgrew it eventually.

any changes or stress can cause it aswel, like a new school or sibling, changes in discipline or routine etc. It's fairly common with preschoolers.

yeah most times it's normal chatting, I noticed it when he says "I" "and" and a few other's...not every word, just the first word that comes out of his mouth. He's a VERY active boy too.

DD did that for about 6m. It was because she really had too much tosay. When she got tired it was bad. She grew out of it.

mine does sometimes to when shes really excited or trying to tell a story. its just her brain going a million miles a minute and even though she a chatterbox her mouth cant keep up
