Right now I work two part time jobs, and receive no child support even though it is court ordered. At the moment I am living with my parents while I pay off some debt and figure out my next step. I am trying to decided if I should quit one of my jobs and go to school full time, or just keep working both jobs and put school on the back burner.
If I quit one of my jobs I will probably lose $400 a month in income, which would be fine, if BD would pay child support, I mean either way it would be fine. If I do go to school though I would have to live with my parents longer, which they would not mind.

So, if you were in my shoes would you just work? Or go to school full time and work part time?

I went to school full-time and worked 30 hours per week. Can you do both?

If you have to quit one job, then I would. It would be only for a few years, and then you could make enough money to work one job and spend your free time with LO.
It sucks that your ex won't pay child support, though.

With my schedule no. I work for a Dr. Mon-tues- half day thusday- and friday, and my other job the one I would be keeping is super flexible I would be working 30 hours a week but when I choose. Right now I am working 7 days a week.

This is my thinking, make less money now, but kick ass in school and be able to be fully independent.

Just work one job, not both. I don't see why you can't work and go to school, especially if the one job is flexible.

Oh no, I would work the flexible one. The pay is just really crappy.

I would quit one of the jobs, because without school you will probably be forever stuck working two jobs which sucks. If you take the time to get school done, you will get paid more & have better hours which = more time with your LO & a better future for you both with the better pay & such.

I give you props, I could never manage that lol. I have hard enough time with school as it is ( I have learning disabilities & ADD), I couldn't imagine throwing in a job on top of it.

And nursing school is like a job in itself. Class, then clinicals 3-4 days a week. Glad it's over!
