Quoting Mommy of 3 ♦:" Then Kira is the perfect name for her! Both of my sons have their daddy's bright blue eyes and I have hazel eyes! I think my daughter will have brown eyes because her dads eyes are dark dark brown!"

My ex husband has brown eyes and I have blue. My twoo year old has hazel eyes.
Your daughter could have brown or hazel I think.
Even blue or green (though the chances are slimmer) if one of his parents has blue or green eyes.

Yep. Kira's also a Russian name with the same pronunciation but different meaning.

yup, that is my opinion.
I didn't say it was a fact, or that people needed to agree.

I know two "Ciara's" and they pronounce it CEE-air-uh. So does the hip hop artist Ciara! I guess it's what you make of it .

lol I knew Kira came from the root name Ciara because I looked up the meaning of the name when I first chose it.

Ouch. I didn't mean me...but the outside world is a VERY different place than this corner of the internet. If you want to guarantee that your child's name is always mispronounced, then by all means go with the original spelling.
