Wow that's interesting. I have never heard of speeding tickets going against getting a gun. Pawn shops, walmart, gander mountain, lots of places here have them.

So you probably hate the law that was signed into effect today?

I was reading about that today! A lot of people are probably running out to buy magazines before July 1st just in case.

I'm from Pennsylvania and am for guns. I grew up around them. My father is a very big hunter and I hunted for quite a few years. Took a safety course and everything. I keep my .22 and 270 at my parents house though. I don't have a gun cabinet so I wouldn't feel comfortable keeping it in the house without them being properly locked up.

Limits the amount of ammo you can buy. More extensive background checks. The article I read said the Supreme Court didnt want part in it so they took a step back and the lawmakers passed it on their own.

Just in Colorado though(for now)

Quoting A Beautiful Disaster:" Id rather not post about my home alarm situation on the net. Emergency service can take a long time( ... [snip!] ... killing us all with his/her gun. Guns for defense makes NO sense to me AT ALL. Sport, yes, defense(unless you're a cop) no."

Sorry I was just kind of curious. I've always been in family where guns are for sport, for protection, and just because lol. So I guess I'm curious as to what would someone do if there was an intruder and they didn't have a gun. I'm ignorant to the other side of the debate

I'm in TX. I don't think I'd ever own a gun, but I am unbiased about others owning guns.

That is because if your service is good, the cops are out patrolling, not sitting at the station.

People need to realize that having stricter gun laws is not going to change anything. People will forever be able to get a gun under the table. You think criminals and these stupid hood rats follow the law? come on.

I would hate to depend on the police in my area. One night DH was in the field and some guy was banging on on door and ramming stuff into the door. The police get here an hour later. Then ask me why I didn't call sooner -_-. Then when I tell them I did they say "oh it took us that long". Then they say are your sure it wasn't a boyfriend or someone who your just angry with... I was livid.
