to much iron... and usually you do blood letting sessions to get rid of the excess blood and iron

Yes I know about that part, do you have it? If so how was it diagnosed? What were your iron, iron sat, and ferritin levels? How long did it take to get regular?

My iron is very high, my saturation is very high, but my ferritin is normal right now. Don't have the official diagnosis but the Dr said it was that. I have had a rough few months. Pancreatitis, gastritis, thyroid pain ( I have hashimotos), chest pain, palpitations, weight loss and gain, hair loss(extreme), numbness and weakness in extremities, confusion, easy bruising, list goes on and on

I was diagnosed with juvenile hemochromatosis. It means you have too much iron. It's more common in males and can be hereditary. My dad also has it, he has to get blood drawn every other week while mine is monthly.

Your doctors recommend staying away from food high in iron, and sometimes even tell you not to cool with cast iron pans.
