*vent* Seriously? My cousin. Wtf! Minion 3 kids; ., GA, United States 21713 posts

I've posted a few times about my cousin:

Well she revealed today that she's pregnant with a little boy. That's great and all, but she hasn't been seeing a doctor because she basically said she's been too stressed out over her house situation (see above links) to worry about doctors.

This is what she posted:
"Okay everyone, this is huge news. But liam is going to be a big brother. We found out today that its a boy!
Yes, Im that far along. We found out late but wanted to wait for the first ultrasound to tell, then around that time the thing with the house started and we were so unhappy and depressed our main goal was to get moved and get settled so we could be happy about telling such big news.
We couldnt focus on anything but trying to find a new place and we've been dealing with that since december.
Weve been through alot the last 4 months and noone will ever understand what we went through and the heartache we felt when we first found out we had to yet AGAIN move from the place in royston when we thought we were going to be buying it in a few years.
We just couldnt tell anyone in the midst of all that, honestly we didnt even have doctor appointments through it all because we were to stressed out to think about anything other than all that. We waited so long that we decided to wait until we found out the gender so thats why we're telling today and We just wanted to be settled and ready to tell before telling and it just wasnt right until now. We couldnt be happier."

She posted a bunch of ultrasound pictures from today and showed that the baby is a boy, a face, etc.
She said that the baby is measuring at 2 lbs 4 oz so she's in about her 24th week, right? I asked her how far along she is, but she ignored my messages. I know she saw them. Plus she's been posting other stuff after I asked.

Time to vent: Why in the HELL didn't she go see a doctor before now? From a few of her other posts about the baby, this is her very first ultrasound and doctor visit. What. The. Hell? She said she didn't go because she couldn't focus on anything but the house. Sorry, but your child is more important. Plus it takes just about 3 hours out of the day to go see a doctor. That wouldn't take any time at all away from house hunting. Seriously.

Plus she should have been getting her shit together financially. She's saying she's known she is pregnant for a while, and she has been complaining about not being able to pay bills and shit, but she goes out and buys all sorts of crap she doesn't need. She goes somewhere all the time, every week. Places like monster truck rallies, Six Flags, places like that. She should have been saving her money!

Ugh, I could go on, but I don't feel well. :?

Why waste your time so concerned with someone else? If I knew my cousin was talking this much shit about me online, I'd drop kick her ass.

Seriously, why do you care so much?
Also at least she's been to the doctor.

I don't think it is a big deal at all...what do doctors do? Tell you to take prenatals and listen to the baby's heartbeat. Not like they can prevent a miscarriage or change the outcome of a genetic disorder.

I don't care.. she is still your family that you are talking negatively about.

You seem so mad. Life is too short to consume your thoughts with trivial things.

No, but what if she had GD or PE or something like that? Or if something was wrong and she needed bedrest or something? Idk, I just feel like going to the doctor is important just to make sure everything is ok.

I don't think it's a big deal to not go see a doctor that early if there aren't any obvious problems.

I'm not mad, I'm just frustrated. She just does so many things that makes me want to bang my head on the wall.

Why not just block her on FB so you don't have to see the stuff she posts....

I think I will seriously. I was going to do that last time she got on my nerves, but I forgot. I'll do that now.

There's really not a huge reason to go to the doctor that early. You say you're concerned about gd or pre-e.... they don't test for those until the second trimester anyway, so? Mind your business.

I think I remember your previous posts. Wasn't she wanting to stay at your place for awhile?

You can't choose family. Delete her off your Facebook etc and don't speak to her again
