A friend on FB posted an article......she got a lot of negative comments. If you saw that a woman had posted the article below then would you think less of her as a mother? Would you say something?

Nope, i wouldn't think anything of it really. Me? I LOVE bfing, but i also know some mothers find it horrid and a nightmare. Different strokes for different folks.

I would tell her good for her for being willing to admit this. Looking down on her would be just as low as looking down on someone for breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is not for everyone simple as that.

One of our mutual friends even said she didn't deserve to be a mother.

Out of all the things to call somebody a bad mother over. I'm not shocked though.

I would never judge anyone for not bfing. Especially if they tried an didn't enjoy it.
I personally didn't breastfeed #3 for longer than 5 weeks because I have a toddler that was demanding and bfing didn't come easy for me. Everything I had to put the baby down to see to my 1.5year old it took another 15-20 minutes trying to let her to latch back on.
Bfing isn't for everyone and doesn't come easy to everyone. What's most important is a happy mum and a happy baby, not whether the baby is feed from a tit or bottle.

I also hate breastfeeding... but I have breast fed all 3 of my children for at least a year. It's very good for them, free, and it burns calories.

I actually understand some of the reasoning in that article.Feeding my first was easy, had all the time in the world. 2nd? Ha, that was a pain, running after a 2 year old at the same time. This one, i'm guessing i'll feed while doing dishes, laundry, and finger painting.
The whole wanting my body back? Yep, i've pretty much been pregnant for 5 years, i can't wait to have my newest edition weined at a year and have my body ALL TO MYSELF.

It didn't bother me about what she posted. I just noticed a lot of negative comments on her post and I thought it would be a good D&D.
