Quoting TantricLemons:" Comparing surgery to breastfeeding is ridiculous, with one there is a possibility of death, a medical ... [snip!] ... and is pretty stupid. It would be like asking if women should also have the choice to starve their kid, they share nothing."

I don't agree and watch who you call stupid. The point is that is also a woman's choice and a woman's body.

What not who. And you were not trying to make that point. You were trying to nullify the fact that it should be a choice.

Quoting Mama Rice:" A friend on FB posted an article......she got a lot of negative comments. If you saw that a woman had ... [snip!] ... less of her as a mother? Would you say something? http://thestir.cafemom.com/baby/152925/6_reasons_i_hated_breastfeeding"

I agree with her 100%

Quoting LRX:" Would you also feel this way if a woman chose to have a cesarean instead of a vaginal delivery because ... [snip!] ... it to hurt, or thought it would make her vag loose? How about if she wanted to deliver early to avoid more stretch marks? "

As already said, not quite the same! Mum and baby both need to be happy!! You can create for a very unhappy mum if she BF when she does not want to.
