How long after having your LO did you wait to get pregnant again? I know there are certain risks when getting pregnant to quickly after, I can't think of many but I'm sure there are some. And if you waited less than a year, how was it? Would you suggest it? Or should I just wait it out. My DS is only 3 months old but I would love for my kids to be close in age so I plan on getting my mirena out in september so.we can ttc. I guess I just wanna here some feedback and opinions... TIA

Oh wow..Did it get easier or harder with each birth? And how do you like having your kids so close in age?

Unfortunately my children keep getting a shoulder stuck on the way out. But I still refused pain meds. They are awesome with each other. When they all need something at the same time is a little tough at times.

If you're going to try less than a year I would definitely wait at least 5-6months!
My reasons are I got pregnant 5months after my first Son and by the time my
2nd LO was born the 1st had just started walking. The first week with my new baby was rough. I still nearly had to carry them both around because 1st LO wasn't fully on his feet yet, but after that (about 6mths) he was good and could manage more on his own. My Sons are best friends and I really do enjoy having had them so close together. They have someone to play with and go every where together. Caution: They also get into everything together. It's almost like having twins.
But yeah I'd put a 6month minimum on ttc after birth.

I'm glad to hear of someone actually enjoying it! It sounds like a blast :} And we definitely plan on waiting atleast a year. My DS will be 10 months old when I get my mirena out and who knows how long it will take after that to actually conceive. Hopefully everything will work out

I've had friends and co-workers tell me that i'm crazy for not getting pain meds but child birth pain I seem to tolerate. I hope you get your med free birth next time.
