Or favorite ways to cook chicken pork or beef?
I'm trying to cut out unnecessary carbs on this diet. I want to eat more protein. My favorite way to cook meat is usually in the crock pot but I need more recipes :)
I'm also not opposed to using the stove or oven.
Watching..... I feel so bad I havent even used mine. I got is as a gift for christmas and is brand new.
I always do salsa chicken, pour salsa on chicken breast, bake at 375 for 30 minutes, take out, sprinkle cheese on it and bake for another 5 minutes then take it out. This can be made in the crockpot too but I don't have the recipe for it.
Quick healthy chicken... fat free Italian salad dressing, marinate for 30 minutes. Then either bake (30 minutes) or grill.
I love BBQ ribs in the crockpot!
do you like buffalo chicken sandwiches? if so throw in 4-6 (depending how many people are eating) boneless-skinless chicken breasts into the crock pot with a bottle of franks buffalo wing sauce, a packet of dry ranch and cook for the day, i usually buy keiser buns, tomato, cheese, lettuce and put some ranch salad dressing..serve with ceasar salad or whatever else lol
Buffalo chicken in the crockpot - cook in water or chicken broth for about 6 hrs.. drain shred and cover in buffalo sauce. I usually put it on a salad and DH will make sandwhiches.
Salsa chicken- just pour salsa over chicken in crock pot and shred. Can put on low carb tortillas. I usually wrap in romaine lettuce leaves (this is what i do for a lot of substitutes for bread.. I'll do it for burgers, hotdogs, sandwhiches, wraps, tacos...)
Italian or ranch chicken.. just buy the packets of dry seasoning sprinkle on and put a little water.
Also other ideas besides crockpot ground chicken for tacos in lettuce wraps, lean hamburgers without the bun or turkey/chicken burgers, steaks, porkchops or loins baked.
You can also find low carb chili recipes, fajitas in the crock pot (on lettuce wraps)
Just go for meats and a vege or salad and your meals will be pretty low on carbs.
