My 4 month old had horrible cradle cap and still does if I forget to treat his head I have to use hydrocortisone cream on his head twice a week I just rub it in and leave it to soak into his skin and its gone by the next day :) I used so many things before this worked . Baby oil made it worse and the cradle cap treatment from babiesrus didn't do anything...I gave him oatmeal baths and a few other things before I gave into getting the cream but it works!

Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care! They sell it at walmart for under $5. Its amazing and works right away!

I saw someone else posted hydrocortisone.. definitely talk to your doctor before trying that.. I use hydrocortisone on my daughter for her eczema and my doctor said not to put it on her face or head.

Johnson and Johnson dried my son out. We use Paul Mitchell kids shampoo. My doctor told me to use baby oil about an hour before bath that helps too.

I read online where you can use vasceline! I tried this, and left it on his head all night, put a hat on his head and it worked really well! he still has a little bit, but im gonna buy some burts bees baby oil and shampoo and try that as well! I think the Johnson shampoo is making his head super dry!
