Is it dumb that I'm seriously considering breaking up with my SO and finding another man because all he does is work and sleep. Me and our DD literally only see him 2 hours a day even on weekends he works... I understand he has to work to support us but we never see him anyways.

Why do you need to find another man? That's what's dumb.

Very dumb IMO. A part of growing up is not only doing but facing things you'd rather not. He isn't out partying, he's supporting you guys. SO works 5 days a week 11am-3am so I never see him and Thursdays he doesn't come home. Now he picked up a Saturday to help me pay for school so he sleeps out Thursday, Friday, and doesn't get home till late Saturday. I miss him and if it were up to us, he would be home but we have responsibilities and that's just life.

That makes me feel a little better. At least I get to see him I guess. I'm just getting annoyed with all of this over time he's getting

Yes.
Because DH works all the time, and when he's home he's napping or doing house stuff. We don't get a whole lot of time with him.
But he's also military.
So because I don't get to spend as much time with him as I like, means I leave him? No. He does other things that let us know he loves us and appreciates us

Wouldn't you be more annoyed though if you guys couldn't pay your bills?

I don't think that reason alone is worth breaking up with him. DH regularly works 48 hours a week, 90% of the time a 6 hour shift on friday, and if he's offered a 12 hour shift on sunday he takes it! He's currently the financial provider so I understand he does that to support us and I'm grateful for every hour we have together when he's not working!

You think thats annoying? You should meet the women whose SOs are home all day because they are unemployed and dont have shit else to do.

Yes, and extremely bitchy to boot.

Maybe you should get a job so he doesn't have to work so much.
