Why so early? Munchkin Maker 2 kids; Maryland 733 posts

DD was up and at it at 7:30 this morning. Considering she's less of a morning person than I am, and she usually won't start rolling around until 9 am, I was surprised.
I probably shouldn't have been depending on her late rising and stayed up until 1 am. ):
How early do your LO's wake up?

My daughter was up at 7 and I had to work last night. Boo. Oh well. I'm used to only getting 3-4 hours sleep per night/day, and can't imagine it will get any easier with a newborn!

What are the curtains in her room like? Are they light coloured, dark or blackout? I recently had to change the curtains in my room coz with it getting brighter earlier my daughter kept waking earlier than normal which is 8-9 for her. She was waking around 6.30 instead. Once I did that she slept till her normal time. She's still just 11 months but never slept properly till she was 6 months or so, I was afraid she was going back to that again!

DD1 was such an easy baby, bfing she went right back to sleep as a newborn through 3-4 months. Around 4 months was when I stopped, and she started sleeping completely through the night then.
I very highly doubt I'll be so lucky with LO. But one can hope lol.

Curtains are white, and I know the light does affect when she wakes up. If she hears me get out of bed and run to the bathroom she'll pop her head up to see if it's light outside. If its still dark she'll go back to sleep lol.

Ah that's cute lol :D I'm sharing a room with my daughter for now we live with my mother while I'm looking for my own place. I keep disturbing her no matter how quiet I try to be. If she wakes and sees that I'm awake, that's it, she won't even try to go back asleep even if she's still tired. It's like: aha you're awake! I want to play now lol.

I'm sharing with my 13.5 month old and have since she was born. Lol but I have the phone in there it rings in the middle of the night she stays asleep. I play on the laptop with the light on and she sleeps I even listen to music or watch movies and she never wakes up. Lol

10 month old DD goes to bed at 9pm and gets up at 8:30am, which sounds amazing but she wakes up every two hours to nurse for a minute.
