I agree with fear of change. It takes time after a break up to let go of the sadness that it's over and focus on the new beginning you have instead.

No......it makes all the sense in the world. You remember the good times and don't want to think of the bad times. You don't want that familiarity to end. Especially when you have shared children and history.
