Just remember that it will all be over soon and the pain won't last forever. I had everything I needed because my midwife had me well prepared. I used a blow up kiddie pool and absolutely loved it, it was sooo comfortable and had a lot of cushion. I also used a hose adaptor that connected to the bathroom sink so you could siphon cold water out and refill with hot water, it was perfect. I ordered it and the pool off amazon. Having a home birth was the most rewarding feeling I have ever felt and I will be having another this time around. If you have any questions feel free to ask or PM me. Good luck!

I posted my story not too long ago, you can get to the link under my topics on my profile...
but I think pretty much go with the flow, and have a few things in mind for pain relief.
and keep in you head for transition that it wont last forever..up until transition was a breeze for me...
but yea, my main pain relief plan was to use our garden tub, but once labor came on the water made my surge more intense.. so yea, lesson learned.

also have on stock plenty of drinks and high protein foods.
I was surrounded a strong group of women. ..that its self got me through it. I think a good support system is key.
