I did insanity and p90x before pregnancy so this is nothing. I have already cleared my exercises regimen with my Dr. and she gave me the ok. she also ok'ed the exercises regimen i had with my son. exercising while pregnancy is completely safe just needs adjustments

Like I've said I've cleared my exercise regimen with my Dr. I was equally active with my son who was healthy almost 8lb baby. I'm not concerened because my Dr is not concerened and I listen to my body when I need to stop and rest. I do.

This is a picture of a personal trainer that continued her exact regimen (with her doctors ok).... I cant even lift that kind of weight when I'm not preggo and she still has abs whoooaaa. LOL. I could never do her intense workouts and cant continue mine but I am doing little things that are healthy still :)

I need someone like you!!! LOL! I am currently 10 months PP and I still need to lose 13lbs to get back down to my PP weight and my preferred weight. I weighed 125lbs before. I'm 138lbs now. I am doing the Trim Healthy Mama and it's FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. I've lost about 7lbs in the last few weeks and that's me NOT following the plan religiously. Trim Healthy Mama is low-carb, high-fats and lots of veggies and proteins. I do kettle bell twice a week, but that's about all I can commit because I have 3 kids. I just want to lose my love handles and upper thighs. My sister is getting married in less than 6 weeks so my goal is to be down to 130lbs by then...only 8lbs to go! Then my next goal is to be 125lbs by Memorial Day and our beach vacation. Trim Healthy Mama(THM) is safe for Pregnancy, Nursing or Not so I'm looking forward to being able to do it through my whole life. It's not a diet, it's a healthy eating plan and talks about exactly what foods do to your body. It's very very interesting. I'm only 1/4 through the book though so I don't know everything yet.

Here's Trim Healthy Mama. You can find it on Amazon.

get it gurrrlll! hehe. I know I dont think its a lot AT ALL. espcially compared to what some peopl cane still do!! I am already having a hard time jumping.. its more like a half inch hop of the ground. What exercises are you still doing? the exercise part isn't hard for me. Its the not eating fastfood or restraunt food every meal that is. my husband wants to start eating healthy which is shocking so I'm cleaning my habits up as well.

wow!! that is amazing mama! you are doing great with it and thats the best part is finding something that works for you and your body and lifestyle! I am naturally a cardio- go- to kind of girl but recently I've been realizing how important "lifting" weights is. You do the kettle ball which is great! is it a routine you have put together yourself or a dvd you follow? Maybe sneaking in 1 more workout of working out your obliques and abs will make a difference Gaining muscle will help you burn that fat (which you already know). You really are doing the most important thing which is watching your nutrition! you have probably heard you cant out-exercise a bad diet! which is so true. in the past no matter how much I worked out if I didnt eat the right foods (which is hard for me to do) I would never get the results I wanted UNTIL i changed my nutrition. Keep up the good work and if you can or are not already add a 30min- 40 min cardio exercise (just until your sis wedding if its too much with your little kiddliewinks!) and add an ab and oblique exercise with it.

Quoting jazzzzz*:" Zumba killed me pre baby. I could imagine what would happen to my fatass now. I'm 16 weeks and I've already gained fifteen pounds... Uh"

Lol. I wear a heart rate monitor now. But most the time I just stop doing it or slow down when I FEEL like I need to. Zumba is killer . I was an instructor so Ive been doing it for 3 years now. you'll be fine mama. Everyone gains differently and such. I'm not too concerened about the amount of weight I gain as I am the activity i maintain.
