We will be naming our son Asher, we are still working on a middle name. Dh and I cannot seem to agree on one we both like.

We've decided on Peter Malone. We both like Malone but we're keeping it as a strong middle name if he chooses to go by it later. We got Peter from my youngest who likes naria and suggested Peter after King Peter.

Hi ladies! I've just been a reader lately. But decided to post tonight. i went to the hospital on Monday morning I was there all day long. I was having 5-7 contractions every hour all day since Saturday. They ran test and checked everything came back normal thankfully! I was waiting to see the ultra sound specialist for 3-4hrs! The contractions weren't causing any dilation but they couldn't figure out why I was having them! My dr got annoyed with the specialist and discharged me to just do the u/s in his office down the street since he has a very new u/s machine well come to find out my cervix is shortening on aug 28 at my last appointment my cervix measured 5 and on monday it was measuring 3.5 so in two weeks it's shortened I have to go back next Wednesday for another scan to check the length. I know it's too late to stitch it up but they did start me on procardia yesterday. So I'm hoping and praying everything goes well Wednesday. Please keep me and my baby in your thoughts and prayers! Thank you!!

Hi,

Congrats on your pregnancy! I am a researcher at the University of Stirling who is conducting a study on relationship well-being during pregnancy.

Pregnancy can be a time of mixed emotion with excitement and anxiety both being experienced. I am conducting a study to look what predicts a positive (marital) relationship during pregnancy.

To do this I am recruiting pregnant women in their second trimester to complete a questionnaire. Can you help me?

If you are interested in taking part please use the link below to find out more information. I will then re-contact you once in the third trimester and once after you have delivered to see if your feelings in your relationship have improved, decreased or just stayed the same.

The results of this research may be of applied value in knowing which women are most likely to experience relationship difficulty during the important phase of pregnancy. At the end of the survey I will send each participant a summary of the overall aims of the study and the results which I hope many will find very interesting.

If you have questions please contact me at the email below.

Best wishes & happy pregnancy,

Kelly

Oh that's awesome! Wishing you holding dust until it's time!

It's weird to think that most of us could give birth to our little ones and everything would be medically okay. But I know most places the baby has to
stay several weeks or even the rest of term to be discharged and that can be hard on a parent as well.

I'm really anxious about my next appointment Thursday because I've been
having a few issues this week with pain in my cervix and tightness surges in my
uterus throughout the day. I'm guessing its just braxton hicks, but it's not really cramping as much as a lot of pressure and tightness in my belly.
Baby's still moving fine so its probably nothing.
