how long do 3lbs of meatloaf take to cook in the oven?

Depending on what oven temp you're on, the size pan itself...at 350 degrees, about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hour....

Really?? I just googled it and 1 site said 30-40mins per pound and the other said no longer than an 1hr 45min

If making it in a small cake like pan instead of bread pans does that make a difference? I think the pan is like an 8x8

If you cook it 2 1/2 hrs it will be burnt. I cook mine for about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. Check it after a hr and see how it is.

I could mine for an hour 20 mins approx then i pull it out slice it but not right through pour the sauce in each slice and all over it then put it back in for another 20 or so. So yummy!
oh and thats at 350

I've made 3 lbs of meatloaf and at 350, 1 hr 45 was not long enough, it wasn't cooked in the middle. but at 40 minutes per pound, that's still 2 hours.

just pull it out at like an hour half and check it..If its not cooked put it back in.
