Does your child wear one? Has it helped to soothe their pain? Where did you buy it? How much was it? What assured you that it was authentic? Is it light or dark amber? Does the colour really matter or do they work the same?

DS is currently 10 months; the little guy has been workin' on his teeth/gums since he was 2 months, but the first tooth didn't break through until this past January (actually cut two of 'em back to back that month). A third poked through this week and I can see the white dot of a neighbouring tooth just below the gums, so he's bound to be welcoming a fourth pearly white here soon. Needless to say, kid's having a rough time and I'd like to relieve as much pain as I can without medicating him.

I've been interested in trying an amber teething necklace since I first heard of them, but I'm not quite sure where to go. Searched around Google enough to find out there's no local shops that sell such a thing, which forces me to buy online. Not my ideal option, but I'm alright with it so long as I can guarantee the authenticity of the necklace and have it shipped ASAP.

Suggestions on where to order would be much appreciated, and any personal stories - how the beads have helped (or harmed) your child - are welcome!

I don't know about the necklaces but I have found clove oil to be amazing in lo of that orajel crap. It doesn't inhibit the teething and it numbs immediately & lasts long! Also, all natural yay!

Is that something he could be allergic to though? I'm not familiar with it, so sorry if that sounds really dumb.

I haven't heard of any one having an allergy to it honestly. Not a dumb question at all though, you have to be careful! You could always try a dab on the inside of his wrist at first just to see if there's a reaction to be on the safe side :)

my son had an allergic reaction to it, bad. after wearing it 3 days. my son has a lot of allergies though, and i think it was the hazelwood. he had a hazel wood AND amber necklace.
not to say that would happen to your son...and i know a lot of people who say it works.

DS wears a hazel wood necklace 24/7. He gets SUPER whiny and irritable when he's teething, diarrhea and a bum rash so bad that it takes SO and I both to change his diaper :( I ordered him the necklace online at https://www.kuddlykids.biz/hazelwoodteethingnecklaces.html , and it's like night and day. He just recently cut his third tooth, and barely made a peep in the process. I was very skeptical before I bought it, but I decided to give it a try anyway....I'm so glad I did.
