So I was taking them regularly and I took one and put it off to the side and forgot about it until 10 hours later and when I looked at it it was positive (this is when my OPKs were starting to get darker) but I took one right after that and it was still dark but a negative. I do not have issues with my tests getting darker as they dry so I saved that date in my calender anyways as the day I ovulated and now my tests have gone from being really dark back to having that faint line they always have.
Would you count that day as your O day?

You can probably count it as your surge day. O day wouldn't be until the next day or day after.

Really. I did not know that. I always thought a positive test meant you were ovulating.

That makes me feel a lot better because I BD'd with DH that night assuming I had missed my egg.

The test picks up LH, which is the hormone that matures the egg so it can release. It's our natural "trigger shot." :)

Nope you get about 24-36 hours' notice with an OPK. So there's a good chance you caught it.

I was about to say exactly what the other momma already did. When mine start getting close to positive we try to BD as much as we can because I am always afraid we will miss the actual positive OPK. I want it so bad this month
