i would see a doctor as soon as you are able

bright red blood isn't good , but brown could just be old blood

and since you have had a miscarriage before the hospital should be more sympathetic , well that's how it was with me after i miscarried and then bleed with my daughter

everything turned out ok but i would go and get piece of mind

I had bleeding with my son, and this new baby. My doctor says you need to get checked within the 48 hours after bleeding. If you don't have an OB I would go to the ER and have them check out what is going on. Thankfully I had a healthy pregnancy with my son, and this one so far. But bright red is not really a good thing.

Have you had sex within the past 48 hours?

You should always go to the doctors if you have spotting or bleeding. I made the mistake with my first pregnancy of not going in when I spotted at 8 weeks and after a while I was having tons of pain, went into the doctors and it ended in a miscarriage. I later found out I could have possibly prevented it if I had went in sooner. My blood type is 0- and my body was rejecting the baby. If I would have gotten the rhogam shot it could have saved the baby. In my case I was lucky (not that I lost the baby) but I got pregnant for my beautiful daughter just shortly after and I wouldn't change a thing.. I learned from it because I started bleeding with her at 12 weeks( my second pregnancy). I went to the doctor and they gave me the shot and it fixed everything.. Now I'm pregnant with my 2nd child (3rd pregnancy) and I've had no bleeding so far at 16 weeks :).. Go in it could be something serious.
