right... it only takes like 10 minutes to boil them. i would imagine it would take long in the microwave.

I've never done it but i've seen things in walmart for cooking eggs, so yes you can.

The thing in walmart was for making poached eggs and it took 45 seconds (i went back and bought it for making montessori teaching tools). It was a tray with holes in and a cover, i think you just crack the eggs in and switch on. The cover had raised bits where the eggs were though so i guess they need more space. It's probably the same as cracking a couple of eggs in and deep bowl and covering. You could take a poached egg out in an insulated lunch box.
