Should I Tell Him NOW? MomOfTwoo Due August 30; 2 kids; North Carolina 4 posts

I am pregnant..I thought I had miscarried early in the pregnancy (I have recurrent miscarriages) and found out at would-be 8 weeks that I was still pregnant. A few weeks ago I met someone online and we've been talking and I haven't told him I'm pregnant (17 weeks now). I started bleeding right around the time I met him and had really horrible contraction-like pains and wanted to see a doctor but then the bleeding and pains subsided..last week more bleeding and pain which subsided again. I cannot see a doctor now bc I live 2 hours away from my VA clinic, but feel I should wait to tell him because I don't know what's going on. We just discussed last night about taking our talking to the next level and I really really like him. Should I tell him NOW?!

I'd tell him, yes. It's not fair to lead him on, and if he doesn't want to be with you because you're pregnant that's his perrogative. And you've only been talking two weeks, no big loss either way.

Have you been to a doctor at all? 17 weeks is pretty far into your pregnancy.

I would find a way to see a doctor and find out exactly what's going on first. Then, if your pregnancy is progressing normally, THEN I would tell him.

You really need to see a doctor. I think you should go ahead & tell him. He may be upset that you haven't mentioned it yet, since you are already 17 weeks along. Explain to him why you hadn't said anything about it & hopefully he will be understanding. Good luck, mama!
