What do you think of Jean? It is my middle name, but do you think it is to "old lady" for a little one? Just curious, It is one of the few names my husband likes that I like too.

Jean is my niece savannahs middle name, not my style but not a bad name.

I think it's kind of plain for a first name, but she would be unique and not be one of a million in a class.

If you like it, do it! It's a respectable name, which is always good.

I like it, my grandmom's name is Jean and I always thought it was a nice classic name. Her middle is Ann.

I would use it as a middle name... too plain for me as a first name but that's just my taste. Not a bad name by any means.

Awww, that's awesome! My mom and I both have the middle name Jean and I plan to use it for my daughter's middle name if we ever have one. :)

OP, I think it would be just fine for a first name! It seems like "classic" names are making a come back anyway.

As a first name? As a middle name I think it's filler and boring and ugly.

It is my mother's middle name. I prefer Jane.
