So I have been having some really crappy symptoms and I have been to the dr once (Friday) for them. I started getting very sick (vomiting) on Monday the 18th and couldn't keep a single thing down the whole time. By the time I got to the dr (my md) I was not peeing at all and hadn't had a bm since the 17th ( it was tan colored and lose). I was super dizzy, couldn't focus my eyes and just felt like over all crap. She didn't say anything about going to get an iv. She checked me all out, said I had a uti (tmi, sorry), and gave my a sapository form of nausea med. She checked my gallbladder out by pushing in it and sent me on my way home with orders to come back in ASAP if I got sick again. The nausea med worked that night but I couldn't eat yet cause I felt so yucky when I got food up to or in my month. I had no drive to eat. Sat I felt very much better till dinner time. I got half way through my meal and felt very sick. My eyes started to bother me again and I was dizzy. Sunday morning at 5am I started vomiting again. Even thro I was still using my med I was getting sick and felt super crappy. Later in the day I felt good enough to drink and eat a little but I started to get this pain in my lower right rib cage when I ate. It kind of felt like I had ran a mile and couldn't breath. It went away after 45mins or so. Then when I ate again it came back. It gets worse when I move or if I'm standing. I got sick again last night a few times (round 11) and then this morning. Im getting much more sick at night.
Has anyone when through something like this? Not sure what to think any more. From what I have seen on the Internet everything is pointing to my gallbladder but I hope that's not it. I feel very weak and tired of it all. I can't get back into the dr till tomorrow afternoon.
it does soumd like your gallbladder :( my friend had quite similar syptoms and had to havev her gallbladder removed w/in a few weeks of giving birth.
If its not your gallbladder my 2nd guess wpould be a wicked case of food poisening.
If it was food poisoning wouldn't it have gone away now?
Quoting jss30:" If it was food poisoning wouldn't it have gone away now?"
depending on what type of food poisoning (bacteria, parasite, or viral) syptoms could last several days......makes it hard to distinguish from gallbladder issues unless you get tests done.
