Do you all go to church? Know any of your neighbors? Maybe you could connect with someone that way

Thank you both!
What would you pay for someone like this?

If you are looking for full time care where your family would be their primary job/income then I would pay a decent wage for them to live on. Care.com has a calculator on it where you can put in your zip code and what kind of care you want and it will give you an estimate of whats fair.

It depends a LOT on your area and the age of the person/their experience. If you just want a high schooler you can probably pay them close to minimum wage. But if you want a college aged girl or professional you will likely be in the range of $10-15 an hour.
I'm a nanny in the Sacramento, CA area and I make $13/hour for one child. I go up by a dollar for every additional child.

I would need them from 8-about 2.. Until my son goes down for a nap, five days a week
He is three though so he has a very strict routine and is somewhat independent. I definitely wouldn't have anyone live in and it would only be until April 20th, unless I have the baby sooner.
I just tried signing up with urbansitter but it isn't available in our area

In my area that would cost you 15-25 an hour.

I nannied in Chicago in College and made 10/hr for one child and 12/2 .. Same family, the older child just went to preschool part time
I'm in a very odd area right now. It's quite busy right where we are at but drive five minutes down the road and its total country.. I'm just outside of Tampa, but its much much smaller than where I was when I nannied.
I don't need a professional or anything, just someone that can actually get up and entertain my son and get me snacks/drinks as needed once we live in a two story and I can't do stairs.

where in florida are you? I may know a few people if you are on the panhandle who may be willing to help.
