Had I seen that I would have called the Police. Shame on the Mother and shame on the idiot who took the picture and made it public! The Mother is a moron that is a given of course but what kind of fuckwit notices a scene like that and decides the best course of action is to stand and take pictures and share it on the internet? Put the phone down and phone the bloody Police. It's true what they say nowadays when people witness a crime instead of going to help/phone the Police they'll get out their phone and take pictures/videos to later upload to the net SMDH.

I understand the bypasser taking a picture, just in case the mother comes back before the police arrive and she tries to deny that she left the child alone or lies about the length of time she left the child alone (the picture would have a timestamp). However, the bypasser had no right to post the picture on the internet, and I think that was in extremely poor taste.

A prime example of why sterilization would be a good thing. Some people don't have the brain capacity to have children.

That's not a mistake. That is neglect. It wasnt an accident; She didn't forget her baby in the car she left a note! At the very least, if she's really that ignorant to think its ok to leave the baby in the car to go grocery shopping (doors locked or not) she needs to complete some intensive parenting classes before taking care of an infant alone. I mean if it's on to leave the baby in the car alone what else is ok?

I don't get why she had the time to write the note, but not the time to take the baby out of the car and put her in the cart.

Lol. wow. How pathetic. It's almost funny to think someone who calls herself MOM thought that would be acceptable.

It wouldn't surprise me if that is a pre written note and keeps it on hand.

I thought about that shortly after posting. I was like, "What if this is a regular thing for her..?" God, I hope not.. if so, she's lucky nothing has happened to that sweet baby!

She'd be the first person we'd hear an outcry of "why me" if someone took the baby and strangled it like that other baby that was left in a car unattended recently. Shit can happen & no one is exempted from that.
Moral of the story TAKE YOUR KIDS IN WITH YOU DUMBASS!

lol I really thought it was common parenting knowledge to not leave your kid unattended anywhere.. apparently not. I guess you can't really teach common sense..

I'd say a good 50% or more lack common sense. It is hard to come by for some people.

I HATE it when i'm at the mall and a mom will be in a store and her toddler will run outside and play on the benches or something! Or let there kid run around a corner ahead of them! Its not the same as leaving them in a completely different room but still, you never know what could happen. I would have done the same thing.
I wonder what that guys baby mama would have said? :/

I work at a credit union and sometimes women will come in with their kids and have to sit down with a member's service rep, they pretty much have to sit in their little cubicle office to be helped and I hate it when I see their LO's run out of the office and run into the lobby and just roam the place. Why do their parents not notice, "Hey.. my kid isn't by my side.. I should go grab her.." Half the time the kids roam into someone else's office and the person just kinda talks to them and lets them wander the office.. and the people at the front desk know better than to let them go outside, but damn.. what if no one was at the front desk and they did wander outside? Ugh. People are dumb!
