I know its all wives tales, and yada yada, but figured I'd humor myself, since I have 7 weeks until I find out what I am having, (OB isn't planning on a gender scan until I am 22 weeks, :( )
However, my first child was a girl, and never had this problem, and my problem is...I am hairier NOW than I have EVER been!
And I am not just talking about my legs, (which have gotten out of control!), but my armpits, my stomach (its getting ridiculously long!), but my DH just pointed out, my BUTT is even getting fuzzy!!
I am appalled, in every sense of the word, but since there isn't anything I can do about it, (minus shaving/waxing), I figured I'd have some fun with this.
So mommas who've experienced this, (I know I am not ALONE!), what did you have in the end? Boy or girl?
We are team BLUE, of course, but would love another girl if its in our cards!
I'm much hairier with this pregnancy than with DS but don't find out the sex for another week and a half :(
Happened with me twice and I had boys. My OB actually told me women who boys are more likely to get hairy because of increased tostesteron levels.
It means you're pregnant.
Omg my stomach...and no extending to cleavage look like i need to take my SO's clippers to it !! did the same with my DD ...both girls!
I have a boy then 2 girls. I got hairier with each pregnancy.
with my son I got a little bit of a happy trail, nothing crazy. Its a girl this time and I am SO HAIRY and so embarrassed by it but cant say it has to do with gender.
both my boys did this!
I got hairier on my legs with my first son, hairier everywhere else with this one... so I'm saying BOY! :D
hahaha I definitely got hairy with my son.
my first was a boy and i definitely got hairy, this is my 2nd pregnancy [a girl] and didnt get more hairy:]
I have gotten so hairy with both y pregnancies and they are both girls, think its just a hormonal thing god dam pregnancy LOL
Oh yes! Not only am I hairer, but my hair grows back so much faster! I can shave my legs in the morning (which I hardly do anymore lol) and it'll feel like I haven't shaved in a week, by the next day. I'm fortunate the extent of my pregnancy was during the colder months, ha. And, I've even resorted to shaving my stomach, because I hate seeing all these little hairs all over it :/ I'm having a boy in about two weeks..

As an old Mom. I bet you that you are going to get your wish. I had one son and 2 girls. With my son my hair grew so fast I almost needed a weedeater to shave my hoo haa. My tummy was too big to reach it but boy was it bad.. I didn't have that problem when I was pregnant with my girls. I have heard that you get hairier with a boy because that put off extra testorone. Good luck. I'm taking my daughter Friday to find out the gender. She will be 18 weeks and that is her birthday. It's a place that does 4D ultrasounds. I can't hardly wait..

I don't even want to talk about my Hoo Ha! (lol)
I am almost willing to go to a place myself to see sooner, but hubby said, "lets just wait, why pay for something we will get in a few more weeks?"
I honestly would be happy for a girl, if it is, but I swear, I am carrying a MONKEY inside me, I have never had hair in places I do now!
