The only time I use brown sugar is when I'm making things like Apple Crumble.

lol I know it seems like everywhere was affected. It was here too, I rarely buy ready made lasagne but of course I got one just before the scandal broke :( and it def had horse in it according to the supermarket.

The french are only annoyed cause it was mislabelled lol the scandal has increased sales of fresh horsemeat here! I still don't want to eat horse.

After a brief search I realised I was not alone in loving it, all the people in the ads have names and ridiculous personalitites.
Hazel is described as 'EVeryones favourite drunk cigarette hag"
May not be funny to most though!

Well that is what the argument has been here that other countries knowingly eat horsemeat and enjoy it and we only think it's a scandal because the idea of eating horse to us is revolting..... Yes and the fact is I don't care who eats horsemeat I want to know wether I'm eating that or beef, I don't want to be fooled.

Oh yeah do Australians celebrate Halloween?

I've heard they don't and they don't want another "American Holiday"......... Which always annoys me as it's an Irish tradition lol

Irish and Scottish :p well celtic really. I hate that everyone says trick or treating now. I was always brought up using guising (not really sure of the spelling lol) instead of trick or treating.

Lol my nana (great gran) used to give guisers peanuts and apples, she was a traditionalist she refused to give just sweets and she would only give them something if tehy actually did something. Sometimes kids would come and just sya trick or treat and expects sweets she hated that lol

I just don't do Halloween with random doors and such now like the good old days. I tend to find most people have Halloween parties or they plan with their friends that they will bring the kids to come visit. I don't take DS to random doors and I don't answer the door to random kids either. Do they have it in France?
