Quoting *~AngelEyes~*:" Amen!! That's just silly... My dad stays getting pnemonia... I know most times it does come with fever, ... [snip!] ... knowing whether it's needed or not? O.o I swear some docs are idiots... smh. anyway; OP, hope your LO feels better soon!!"

She is good now. just on controllers for asthma, which omg has made the difference in our daily lives. :) She has a whole asthma team now and we have a whole check list to see if she needs to go to the ER and if she does we have to ask them to just give her a breathing treamtent, steroid, call the ambulance and then be transferred.

His body is doing what it is supposed to do, fighting off antigens.
There is no reason to take a child who is already uncomfortable to an emergency room because of a fever.

i don't usually just... jump to take him to the ER. he had stomach pain bad enough to be doubled over + that a high of a fever at 3am, there wasn't much else i felt was right to do at that point. wasn't going to let him sit in pain and not know why!
but thank you. he'll see his doc tomorrow.
