If you have/had issues with your gallbladder, how often would you get gallbladder attacks? What do they feel like? Is it possible to feel it only in your back? Like a constant radiating pain in your back for hours?

I got them while I was pregnant with my son. I felt like I was in labor. It was in the front of my stomach and it hurt so bad I couldn't breath. I also felt like I needed to burp really bad but couldn't no matter how hard I tried to force it out. I noticed that certain things set me off into an attack like milk and orange juice and anything that had the slightest amount of grease in it.

Yep! I get them about twice a year or so, but they haven't been bad enough that I've deemed them worthy of an ER visit. It's a sharp/dull pain(if that even makes sense) from about the middle of the front of your rib cage through your back. I also felt like my food wasn't digesting and my stomach was like a rock. It would last a few days and then go away.

Yeah!!! Burping! That was a HUGE annoyance. I think my triggers are an excessive amount of broccoli/cauliflower and almonds.

Okay probably not what my problem is then. Like a couple of times a year (or so) I get this horrible radiating back pain. Sometimes it lasts like an hour and other times it lasts like all night. It is so bad. Like I can hardly move and my whole body feels so tense because of how bad the pain is. It is horrible lol

Oh hmm...is it like a radiating pain? I think mine is mostly in my back..at least that is where it hurts the most!

The first two times I had it it was just in my stomach area. Then the last two times I've had it it was from my stomach to my back. Slightly on one side(can't remember which one). You can look it up and see if you can feel it in your back. Where at in your back are you feeling it? Mine was about midway down my ribs, near my shoulder blades. Do you have anything other than the pain?

I don't know if I'd consider it a radiating pain. I honestly can't remember that much! I just remember that it hurt to breathe and my stomach felt like it wasn't digesting.

Oh, I do remember that the pain felt like I was punched in the back really hard and it was bruised.

Mainly around my shoulder blades...like in between them I guess? It is a constant radiating pain. No matter what I do I can't get comfortable (when it happens) and I'm almost in tears the entire time it happens. I am always bloated no matter what. I have a lot of fatigue, but my iron pills don't help with that (I am/was anemic)...not sure if that has anything to do with it. I don't know. It is so random when this happens. I never pay attention to when it happens or what I eat when it happens though.

Yeah I guess when I think about it, it pretty much feels like I am in labor but with back labor lol. I suppose it does kind of start in the front (like upper stomach area) and radiates into my back..but the back pain is the worst part so that is how I usually describe it! And it is a constant pain in my back..the stomach part isn't constant

It honestly could be. I'm not sure though! You could call your doctor and see what they think.

I'm not sure. I'd imagine they do tests. I've never been diagnosed, my symptoms just match.

That's too funny! We're not far apart! I have family in Peoria and the Peoria area.
