Maybe Charlie as a nickname for Charlotte but not as a birth name.

Kelsey.

And agree with Saffy.

Charlie's... I guess okay as a NN. But use Charlotte.

Charlotte with Charlie as a nickname.

I really don't like Kelsey. It falls into that realm of names that doesn't grow very well and seems really cutesy.

No to Charlie as a given name for a girl. Charlotte with the man Charlie or don't use Charlie at all. Kelsey is ok, definitely better than Charlie but i grew up with a lot if Kelsey's so it's sort of 90s to me.

they dont flow for me. You need like a one syllable first name.

I don't dislike either of the first named but I don't think either of them sound great with Monica.

My first thought was Elizabeth Monica. Also, Penelope Monica, Taylor Monica. It's hard actually, because Monica just sounds like a first name lol

yes i agree, i told DH i would make a poll...so he could see which would win... as for Kelsey - i never knew one (so i don't have any negative feelings about it) i guess that is why i picked that...

any other suggestions for a first name?
my other kids are
DD: Riley Madison
DS: Jarred Gregory

I don't like "unisex" or masculine names on girls, so Charlie is out and Kelsey is so-so as the only Kelsey I've ever known was a male.

What about a feminine name you can use a masculine NN for?

Charlene/Charlotte/Charlize--Charlie
Josephine/Jolie/Jolene/Joelle/Johanna--Joey
Alexandra/Alexandria--Alex
Jacqueline--Jack
Jordana--Jordy, Jordan
Corinne/Cordelia/Cora/Coraline/Coralie--Cory
