Ds is barely a year old. He's a BIG boy. He's tall and solid. He still has 10 more pounds rf on his car seat but how do you know if they're too tall. I want to rf until 18-24 months if possible (not buying a new carseat) but how do you kno if they're too long or tall for it?

Your seat should have height limits so read the manual. Which seat is it?

Should say on the seat, my son's infant seat is a snugride 35, and it goes up to 32 inches long.

It'll tell you in the manual or even sometimes on the seat itself.

my son has a safety first all in one and it RF up to 33" tall. Even though he still had 10 lbs to go, I had to turn him FF after his 2nd bday due to his height.

Well probably have to do something similar. Ds is in the 99% for height. I wanna say he's 28 in. And not even 13 months.
