Is there a site, like expedia or something, that I can go to and search the best/cheapest deals on hotel / flight packages?

Yes, expedia, orbitz, travelocity, priceline. I like expedia the best

Most travel websites (expedia, priceline, orbitz, yahoo travel) all have the option to search for vacation packages.

Ill give it a try =)
I keep seeing commercials for a hotel in vegas that only cost 99 dolars a night monday thru thursday, and then i seen a commercial for airlines for a roundtrip ticket to vegas for as low as 79 dollars....
I was debating would it be cheaper to go this route? or do a package on expedia or something?

I always find cheapoair.com to be the cheapest for flights. Their customer service is good too and they have online chat which is better imo than calling. They have hotel deals too and there are tons of promo codes for them. I just booked 3 tickets through them yesterday, and changed one the next day to another date without any problem, just paying a bit extra for a change fee.

Oh thats great!
Stupid question... but do they mail you the tickets?
Or do you print them out? Or when you go to the airport do you just go to the desk and give em your name?
Ive never had to fly anywhere, so it would be my first time flying and dealing with tickets and luggage and all that... Ive only been in an airport 2 times, and that was to pick up my aunt both times. So im a lil iffy and confused about all this stuff.

They issue e-tickets. They come with an e-ticket number and/or a confirmation number that you can just give to them at the terminal desk and they'll issue your boarding pass. You can print your itinerary if you want but it's not completely necessary.

I've noticed that they're all pretty much the same. I'm flying tomorrow with tickets I booked on orbitz but I've used priceline, one travel, and expedia before too.

It's just your flight numbers, departure/return times and dates, confirmation/booking numbers and all that information. It'll all be on your boarding pass anyway. All you need is your ID and the confirmation/ticket #.
