My 7mo went to the er over the weekend and was diagnosed with pneumonia (beginning stages) and was prescribed amoxicillen. She took it for the 1 few days with no problem but now she wont take it at all and wen I force feed it to her she pukes everything up every time! she is EBF and doesn't even like food yet either, I tried to BF her and sneak the syringe in there but the just resulting in her puking all over me again, wat do I do?

Call the doctor. They may have a suppository they could give you for her!

I would call her pedi. They don't make suppositories for antibiotics. I work in a pharmacy and have never seen them. My guess is if she can't take the amoxicillin then they will try a different med. Her doc may even suggest IV antibiotics.

Alright, I wasn't sure. I figured maybe they did? It would only make sense!
