Lol
In your case I would definitely give it a try :)

I wanted to buy one, but I know my husband would steal it for himself-- he stole DS's boppy and sleeps with that

Once I start buying things, and we know for sure she is a she, I want to get a different cover for my boppy. I'd like to have a couple. I never thought about it with EJ, but I had to wash it a few times and it's just not the same without the cover on it lol.

They make a water proof cover now to put under the colored cover.
I was afraid to use our boppy when DS was a baby since he had reflux- I didn't want him to ruin it

NOTHING. LOL.

I don't want to get the carseat online because I want to check them out in person, so I'm like... okay... clothes? Maybe a few onesies... burp cloths... and then I'm trying to figure out if we should get a crib from the get-go or a bed-side bassinet like this:

And OMG I'm getting this Boppy:

I want to get a few covers, too, but I need a new Boppy-- all of my baby stuff has completely disappeared over the years. haha

I've been looking around for covers-- where do you find 'em?

I'll probably look into one of those as well! EJ never spit up very much so it wasn't like i had to wash it a bunch or it was totally nasty lol. It was mainly to just get it more fresh from time to time. And once when he pooped while nursing and that went everywhere :?

LOL
I personally would not spend that much on a bassinet.
He won't use it that long.
I would get a crib and a cheaper bassinet.

And that boppy is cute!

Maybe a cheaper bassinet?
I used the one my nephew and niece used.
This time I think I will use the pack and play, or buy a smaller pack and play.
I don't want my son to tip the bassinet since they are so lightweight.
