I didn't really need blankets and stuff for this little one. I have a ton of them, and my Mom is always making more... But I always feel like they should have something to call their own. That was bought just for them.

I bought a bunch of preemie outfits yesterday. They were on clearance at Target. I`ve never had to buy preemie stuff before. Alex was gigantic... he wore 0-3mo stuff for about a week before he was into 3-6mo stuff. Chelsea and Marcus were right into 0-3mo when they were born, too... I just feel like this little guy is going to be here really early. And as a result, be pretty small... He needs stuff that`ll fit him. lol
Though at my last appointment, she didn`t say how big he was exactly, but she did say he was big for gestation... Which doesn`t surprise me, considering how big the other three were when they were born. 9lbs 8oz, 8lbs 12oz and 7lbs 14oz, and he was born at 36+3, so a little early. My midwife was certain had he come closer to the 40wks, he`d have been over 10lbs... I don`t make small babies, apparently.. lol

Lol my smallest was 6 pounds 6 ounces, then 7 pounds 4 ounces and EJ was 7 pounds 9 ounces. I'm super curious how big/little Toby will be at 36 weeks.

I think that`s the part I`m always most curious about- how much they weigh when they`re finally here.

Right! Mine have continued to get bigger and bigger... and I wish I could see just how big Toby would be if he could go to 39 weeks like my others (well, 38 with EJ).

I remember someone saying once that in the last month, they gain something like a lb a week... I'm sure there's someone with more accurate info, I don't even remember who told me that.. lol But if that's the case, then Marcus definitely would have been over 10lbs...

Katie, I've never had GD, but the ultrasound techs always ask, because the babies have all been so big.. I wasn't a small baby though, I was close to 9lbs when I was born, and I came on my due date.

I was little when I was born not even 5 pounds and I was 3 days late! Not planning on one. I would be ok if I had to tho. This is my last baby and im alot bigger now then what I was and im worried my old fat ass wont be able to handle it. Plus they say women, with GD tend to have difficult labors im just worried.

Try not to let the "what they say" info get to you too much. I'm a big girl, and my third was by far the easiest labor and delivery. I pushed twice. Once for his head and once for his shoulders. Just listen to your body. You'll know when it's time to push. You're gonna do awesome! :)
