My 5 month old fights sleep bad. And since last week he has had me up every night until 5 in the morning or later and I have to get up at 7 to tend to my other kids.I can't do it anymore. I am so sleep deprived it has gotten dangerous. I am missing some very important things. Today I failed to realize the heater in the kids room was still on (I could have sworn it was off) and the house almost burnt down when Ds through something in it. thankfully it didn't but now I am terrified that I am going to find one of my kids dead because I left a knife out from cooking dinner or something. I meant this is serious stuff I am anal about and it is totally getting by me! I need to be able to sleep so I am not making mistakes like this! HELP!!!!!

Is there no one to help you so you can grab a nap?

No. Dh whines if he misses even an hour of sleep and has been staying super late at work and leaving as soon as he showers in the morning. My mom has been sick and busy helping my sister with her wedding plans.

Yikes. My 5 month old sleeps... But wakes up every hour for about 10 min. But I do get some sleep. But initially I let her cry herself to sleep at 8 if she's dosnt go down by herself.

Yeah he takes 30 minute cat naps during the day and won't sleep at all at night and even if I let him cry some he won't go to sleep he just cries and cries until I get him. SO I don't even bother trying that anymore.

DS has been doing this I just lay him in his crib with a bottle, binkie and like 3 toys turn on his mobile and go back to sleep or sleep period. Maybe call the pedi to see if something is wrong with him see if there is anything ya'll can do.

my LO isnt a very good sleeper. hes 6 1/2 months. He wakes frequently and goes back with binky until 4am when I have to have him in bed with me. Its the only way I can get some sort of sleep to be able to function! So I do sympathise
