I believe Whole Foods meat is grass fed animals..

It is very disturbing to me all the genetically modified food nowadays. We try to avoid it as much as possible, it's so difficult and sounds like its about to get harder to find any "real" food

Ok so Obama passed a law allowing genetically modified seeds to be sold for farms? And GM means they grow bigger right?

I agree. And I think its disgusting that they aren't required to label genetically modified foods so you have to do in depth research to even know what's safe to eat

Exactly. I thought I was being smart last year and finally started growing my fruits and veges in a garden in my backyard. It wasn't until this winter that I found out about GMO seeds :? major fail

That's a great article.. I thought the only reason for making food genetically altered was to make it grow bigger.like strawberries for example. I always assumed the strawberries I bought were gmo... What that article is saying though sounds dangerous.

Would Romney have done things any differently?

I'm not trying to defend the poisoning of America, but as consumers we want food with the qualities that GMOs offer. Longer shelf life, bigger, redder, cheaper...we want fresh fruit and vegetables when we want them, not when they're in season. We want what we want, and we want it to be pretty, round, and inexpensive. So of course we've gone the way of GMOs.

So how do we even begin to fix that?

probably not, but I think GMO labeling would be a great start to fixing the problem?
