Quoting katxo[17wks]:" I love names like that. I always loved Tyler for a girls name(a girl in my class in H.S. had that name ... [snip!] ... so I always loved it). I had Jude picked out for a boy and my friend suggested using that for the middle name but I donno:cry:"

when i started reading this reply and you said that i was about to suggest Jude. it's a guilty pleasure of mine!

Yeah, I really really like Layla Jude. Layla's delicate and pretty, Jude puts some strength behind it.

Yeah and I'm usually with you on this... I don't like using boy names on girls, and vice versa. But, since OP really wanted a boy... I don't see the harm. Plus, I do think it flows well. She still has a nice feminine name to go by.
