Scary dreams and orbs? jaki.my.ny 1 child; Colorado 1511 posts

Hi,

I know I probably sound crazy BUT here it goes:

So ever since I stayed at a family members house for a few weeks, I started to have really weird sexual nightmares that felt so real I would wake up nearly yelling no, because I felt like I was being molested. It got to the point that I started sleeping with the t.v on because I felt creeped out. One night it was especially bad and I couldn't fall asleep because the t.v in the room would always make a clicking sound every time I nearly dosed off. When I finally did I ended up having a really emotional dream and when I woke up my chest felt constricted to the point that it hurt really bad. I just dismissed all of it thinking that since my family member had mentioned that sometimes creepy things had happened before, maybe it was a ghost and nothing to worry about. Either way I wasn't there for long so no big deal.

So when I move back to my apartment of 3 years where I have always felt comfortable, I am back to my old self and comfortable for a few weeks. Mind you I never experienced those types of dreams and such a high level of creepiness here before. Then the dreams start again. I'm so creeped out I can't sleep for nearly a week except when its daylight hours because I would get sleep paralysis. I finally said a prayer for protection a couple of weeks ago and that seemed to help. Now it seems to be back.

Two nights ago, while chatting with my roommate, in the corner of our dining room section (which was dark because we didn't have the lights on, just the tv, in the living room) I saw an orb and some smoke swirling around. As soon as my roommate turned because she saw the weird look on my face it disappeared. And today I woke up at 3:30am, I felt fine. But when I tried to go back to sleep I got a creepy feeling and couldn't. When I finally dosed off, I felt like I was going into sleep paralysis and I felt my chest being touched and heard a low growling sound so I forced myself to wake up. It seems like I'm getting better at forcing myself awake before I get too scared but WTF??? I'm seriously getting tired of being super tired b/c I'm too scared to sleep most days.

Help? Or similar experiences that will help me not feel insane? I just had to put it out there because I'm honestly too embarrassed to talk about it.

Sleep paralysis is very real. So I do not think that you are crazy!

I've had it happen before as well.

I've seen orbs in pictures, but never heard of them being seen with the naked eye. I would either talk to a doctor, or a priest....in all honesty.

Set up a video camera in your room.

Yea me too. I've heard of them but never saw one before. And thing is that it was in a really dark section and it was night time so it's not like it was sunlight since that normally can create odd shadows. Very strange but I definitely saw it.

Sounds like you brought something home with you. Time to call a priest with some holy water.

Burn some sage and do some prayers in case you brought something with you. Also go to the doctor and mention the sleep paralysis.

Yes, me too! The first few times were real scary and not connected to this at all. It was like over a year ago. And now I think these bad dreams, and general creep factor are inducing it. Sometimes I'll hear an electric buzz, or feel tingly everywhere but I've never felt touch. So that really creeps me out. The last time I felt like I floated out of my body and since that really scared me, I've never let it happen again because I just stop it before it happens. But dwhat creeps me out the most is that I feel like I'm being touched...not cool!

I've been seeing orbs for a few yrs now. Recently had a dream similar to yours, minus the chest pain and the pressure.

Yes, I suppose but doing that feels even creepier lol and since my church isn't denominational and we just talk about love and fuzzy feelings but don't talk about a specific god, I don't know if it would work but christian / catholic churchs make me really unconfortable because it just seems divisive. Idk, I'm thinking about it. I'll probably end up doing it.

I spoke with my roommates about this and even though it feels silly I'm doing it this weekend! This is ridiculous!

You should do something soon. Try sage through out your house first, and a non scented white candle. White candles scare off mean spirits

Thanks! I didn't know that about white candles!! My roommate apparently has started having creepy dreams too! Although not sexual so I don't know if it's related yet...
