Quoting White Chocolate Milk:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Jennybananna:</b>" Her doctor is very aware of the issues. All ... [snip!] ... to be pretty stubborn just like DS was about things. Luckily the CIO you explained before with smaller intervals worked for us."

She is stubborn. So very very stubborn. Yes last night ended up to be awesome. The problem is how to make that a repeat thing. I told DH that since he is normally the one up with her and he usually cuddles her to sleep since thats his time with her everyday that maybe he should try what I do. Which is milk downstairs, cuddles downstairs. Then all I do in her room is turn on the sound machine give her a hug and kiss say mommy loves you have a good nap/night lay her down and leave. I think part of the problem might be she is either falling asleep or almost falling asleep in his arms then being moved. Our next plan is i am going to start getting up at night and trying to get her to go right back down. Its just so frustrating we get an amazing night here or there and its like what was it about that night that worked. If she was hungry or something that would be different but knowing she is capable of sleeping through the night but doesnt is just uggg.

Have you read anything by the sleep lady? It's basically where you comfort from beside the crib and gradually move further away until you're out the door. Maybe since she associates sleep with daddy he could
Be the one to sit with her and help her sleep on her own. She also recommends introducing something she can snuggle with like a favorite stuffed Animal to help comfort her self. Hope something works for you! My son is also 14 months and just started sleeping through the night at a little over 12 months. His problem wasnt falling asleep initially but rather in the middle
Of the night. We tried everything and although I have always been against CIO that's the only thing that finally worked.

I havent read anything but we have put her fave stuffed animal in there with her, her fave blanket, and tried soothing her just by standing there. She just screams louder and louder and cries harder and harder.
