I Wonder... Edens Mommy TTC since Apr 2011; 1 child; Orlando, Florida 96 posts

According to my OBGYN and her very rough internal exam, I am as healthy as a horse. lol . Perfectly capable of having babies, yet she finds it peculiar that ever since we have started TTC a year ago, my period has been a big pain in the but, she cant say for sure what the problem is, but she can prescribe me something to help me ovulate if I am not. Issues with this is, a very high probability of pushing out multiples. At this point, with being a SAHM already having a 2 year old and then to add multiples.. I have to really take a step back from my strong desire of conceiving again and wonder a bit upon the fact that it could happen and if this is the right thing to do. Opinions/thoughts anyone?

Clomid?

If so, it's really not that big of a risk for multiples.

There is always a chance of having multiples. If your OB told you that the chance was higher on this medication, and you're not financially/emotionally ready to handle multiples, then I would put it off and wait until you are ready.
Who knows? Maybe when you stop trying, you'll naturally conceive a singlet. :)

Do you have twins in the family other than your sis?
That would increase the incidence.

I used it and had just one as did others I know.

I think being a sahm you are in a decent position to care for 2 babies than others may be, especially since you're lo is already 2

Best of luck whatever you decide!
