DD's pedi thought she had a milk/protein allergy in her younger months (she's 10 months). He thinks it's resolved but we haven't checked her poop yet. well, she's had part of cheese sticks for snacks for a couple wks now. i haven't noticed any issues. well last night she ate the whole thing. a bit ago, she pooped 2 times in an hr. DH changed the 1st one so idk what it was like. the one i changed was...weird? it was like an almost solid kinda dark turd, but it had light runny (almost like newborn- even the smell) in it. so light brown and liquidy it was a yellowish orangish color. is this the allergy or just too much cheese?
reposting in here to see if i can get an answer.
My son had a protein allergy and at first his poop was weird. I took a picture and showed his doctor. She said it was his tummy getting use to the change. After the 3rd or so day it was back to normal
Quoting Draco'sStalker:" so not something to really worry about? should i just cut back some?"
You may need to, we had to work him up to drinking milk on a regular. We started him off every other day on milk once a day then twice a day then every day once a day and then twice a day and now he drinks or eats milk products as much as he wants. But at first it did give him weird poops. I wouldn't worry, but you can always check with your doctor of course.
Quoting Draco'sStalker:" i'm gonna bring it up to him. i was thinking i just gave her too much at once but she really liked it."
We started DS with chocolate milk and he chugged it, that's when we had to slow down lol.
