Rent our house? Poll!! Noah and Baby J's mommy 50 kids; Oregon 3446 posts

My husband seems to think renting out our house and then moving into a cheap rental would be a good idea -_- I am less then amused to say the least right now.

I know we would have no problem renting it out, the area we live in rental prices are sky high and 3 bedrooms are hard to fine.

I am just not sure how I feel about uprooting myself again (4 time in less then a year...) We would drive K to the school since the house we are looking at moving into is out of the district.

Pros: Save us over $500 a month, 200sq feet more.

Cons: Have to sell the dog. Lose a bathroom. Actually having to freaking move. Again.

I wouldn't do that unless it was necessary to survive.

Sell your dog? Why would you not give it away?

It depends on how badly you need the money. If its about losing your house, then sometimes you just have to be tough. If its just for a more comfy lifestyle the. You have to decide if it will really make you comfy at all.

It honestly will be the difference between surviving and bankruptcy. We just had to take out a $5000 "personal loan" For a custody battle. At 47% interest. The payments are over $400 a month.

How long have you been in your house? 4 moves in less than a year....it seems strange that you would be so close to bankruptcy right after buying a house.

This should be in the op. 47% interest? Talk about usury!
I wouldn't want to rent out my home because good renters are hard to find and you never know what they'll do to your house. But if it's that or bankruptcy...

If this is the case I would say move and save the money. Good Luck with everything!
