Update 31 March 2013, about 2:30 this morning contractions started up again, so Danny drove me to the hospital. Right now it is about 3:15 am Doctor is writing more prescriptions for me for medicine to take at home. Also says that if this keeps up they will have to deliver Conner early.

Shouldn't they be making you stay in?Would be safer.

Was told to go home and take this medication. They technically should, would make me feel safer but they said go home.

Ask for a second opinion, if you have contractions again you could have the baby at home before the ambulance or before you reach the hospital, I don't want to worry you hun, but hospital is the safest place you need to be!

We are due back to the doctors on Tuesday so we will ask then. I'm just hoping our little rock star will hold off a while longer

01 April 2013 about 3 am. Admitted to hospital this morning because I was having slight contractions. Doctor says that the chances of Conner surviving are high if he was born now, also says that my body may not be compatible to hold a normal pregnancy because I'm so small.

Good luck! Hope all is well and he is able to stay in a little bit longer at least.

Baby is still in the oven. Been in the hospital since they admitted me. They are not letting me go home until I reach at least 36 weeks. So it's 2 more months until i can walk around. haven't gone into PTL since I've been here, but theyre not taking any chances and I dont blame them.
if i need to shower, i'm not allowed to stand while showering, have to sit down, and they make me get in a wheelchair just to be wheeled a tiny distance to use the loo

oh wow that sounds just like me i was in ptl again last night and they stopped it again i am only 34/35 weeks so they want him to bake longer but he seems to be wanting to come out , my contractions were 1 min apart , and i am not dilating past one

what kind of meds for contractions did they put you on?
that doesn't make sense. Doctors usually never induce when PTL is present because the goal is normally to hold off delivering as much as possible. Was baby showing signs of distress? are you dilated at all?

I haven't dilated at all so far, and I haven't had any contractions since I was admitted so hopefully this means he will stay in a while longer
