Simple question, in your opinion which is worse?

For me it's "unique" Spellings and made up names.

It depends on how BAD the spelling is I suppose, but I'm anal about "unisex" names... I personally don't like them and try to steer away from them.

"Unique" made up names are way worse IMO

I have both, a boy name that is uniquely spelled and having a butchered name is much worse.

Having to always spell your name out is a bigger pain in the ass. Of course the only time I have ever been mistaken for a boy is on paperwork, I will see Mr. on bills, on my credit cards or be called Mr from telemarketers or when a nurse will call about a follow up with a doctor. That kind of stuff.

And having a butchered name did not make me unique! There were four other girls in my class with the SAME NAME. I still had to go by my last name or last initials, or go by some feature I had that other girls didn't.

I knew a ton of Lindsays as a kid. I have always thought that was a girls name. I actually like the spelling. 8)
