Anyone else think that our little flyover the other day was a little.... antagonistic? It's just pissing NK off more. Even Russia is like WTF are you guys doing?

I know our military is fully capable of defending us here on US soil, but I dont want to get into an all out world war. It freaks me out.

It scares the shit out of me TBH.

Not sure why we needed stealth bombers to fly over but yes, I agree.

They said it was to drop off munitions to SK, but did we "really" need to fly over NK's airspace to do it?

Are you talking about the two B2 bombers? If so, it's a drill that we do yearly with South Korea because of our alliance treaty with them.

Is now the best time? Probably not. We can't put everything on hold because some bully who hasn't even shown these nuclear "capabilities" of his yells "Hey! You don't do that!" every time we show any form of defense capabilities.

Yea, idk wtf US was thinking by doing that. Kind of makes me annoyed that they did that, because NK was already pissed off at us as is...like why try and start an all out war kwim?

Makes me want to move out of any large, urban, populated areas... and back into the middle of nowhere.

Foreign militaries are too fiscally conscious to waste money bombing areas that aren't heavily populated. They want as much 'bang for their buck' as they can get.

Yep, I can't wait to move back to the country.

That I can understand... but purposely flying into their airspace? Seemed a tad unnecessary, IMO. It's all over the news today, NK is more amped up than ever.

Also, I dont think a nuke would reach here, and we'd likely shoot it down before it got here, but if they have allies that do have the capability, it still just rubs me the wrong way

It's sending a message to N.Korea by the U.S. doing that. Showing that we aren't going to p***y out and will continue to support and defend our allies. What should the U.S. do? Beg for mercy from N.Korea? They're the ones being tyrants. I'm sure the government and military know what they're doing. They're not just poking the bear.

You guys don't have anything to worry about. Unless you live in Hawaii or Guam.

There's a difference between showing that we're strong and purposely doing things that will piss them off more..... It seems like they "are" poking the bear. Do you think they could have ran their drill WITHOUT flying into NK's airspace?

Fact of the matter is, North Korea is that kid who always talks about how big his dick is but when you pants him during Phys. Ed, he covers up his shriveled little johnson with his hands and runs away blushing.
